Digital Marketing Solutions Developer


Location: Remote

DMS Development is a dynamic development role, with a focus on problem solving and creative thinking.

Working for multiple prestigious online retail brands using a variety of front-end development technologies. 

DMS Developers report to the DMS Technical lead for line management and the DMS Team Lead for current project and team deliverables. 

DMS Developers build Conversion Rate Optimisation experiments (A/B split testing) using CRO tools, Javascript, HTML, CSS and relevant frameworks and libraries whilst adhering to quality standards and best practices. All code is executed in the web browser using Javascript injection and DOM manipulation techniques. 

As a valued member in a small development team, work is organised into Sprints and managed using a Kanban board and led by a Team Leader. A typical CRO experiment size 1-3 days development work.

Where appropriate, training will be provided.



  • Deliver high quality CRO experiments for a variety of clients

  • Assimilate client briefs and design the development approach for each job

  • Build cross-browser/device, responsive code

  • Follow established technical processes, standards and controls

  • Project process and controls (Jira, Agile, Trello and other workflows)

  • Software development standards (Coding standards)

  • Best practices for frameworks and libraries

  • Collaborate with other Developers to share knowledge, resources and develop ideas

  • Be a valued, hands-on team member


Key skills and experience

  • Vanilla JS

  • JQuery

  • Experience of JS frameworks such Angular, React, Vue, Backbone, Ember etc are an advantage

  • HTML5

  • CSS3

  • ES6

  • Responsive design

  • Quick to learn front-end development technologies
